A Geberit exposed cistern allows for easy refurbishment or cost-effective toilet renovation. Unlike concealed cisterns, it does not require a prewall for installation. Exposed bathroom cisterns made of plastic or ceramic can be used with both floor-standing and wall-hung WCs.

As a practical alternative when converting from a floor-standing to a wall-hung WC, the Geberit Monolith sanitary module is an excellent choice. This sanitary module consists of a frame with an integrated toilet cistern, allowing the WC to be mounted directly onto it. In this case, too, there is no need to install a prewall or open a solid wall.

The space requirements vary depending on the model. Exposed toilet cisterns come in various designs, ranging from flush-mounted units installed on the WC ceramic to mid-height or high-mounted cisterns. The flush can be actuated by buttons, remote actuation or a traditional pull chain, meaning each model has different space requirements.
